Inaugurated in 1991 and designed by Pepe Gancedo this 18 hole course is a challenge to say the least. It is physically hard with its steep hills plus, as the name suggests, it has Ramblas (deep watercourses) that cut across and flank the narrow fairways. A super new clubhouse is currently being built that will house the large Pro Shop, fantastic changing facilities for players, long covered terraces for cooling off and watching play. There is a huge choice of bars and restaurants in and around the Villamartin area plus supermarkets, pharmacies, hair-dressers, gift shops and internet cafes. This is a busy part of the Costa Blanca with a local feel where most things are on your doorstep. A short drive to the Coastal Road (N332) offers up more choice in restaurants and bars and La Zenia Beach is only a 6 minute drive away. There is a good bus service throughout the area now which is increasingly popular and links Villamartin Square, Los Dolses, Cabo Roig and La Zenia. |
