If you own a property and you do not live in it or near to it, you will need that property to be looked after and maintained. A property management company will provide, usually for an annual fee, a service that will include regular checks on the property, utility checks, watering of plants, sourcing and overseeing extra works, gardening for example. It is common for empty properties to be 'managed' as neglected properties are easy to spot, targets for burglars, an annoyance to other residents and worth less than a well maintained property.
