Padron (Empadronamiento)

The Padron refers to the process of registering with the Town Hall as a resident of your municipality. The process is simple and free and it is vital that the local government receives the proper amount of funds necessary to run the municipality and both maintain and improve services and infrastructures - this money is granted according to the head-count on the padron.  It is important to register both for your community and for yourself. Your name on a padron document is essential for registering cars, getting a doctor, enrolling children in local schools etc...
